Read how to get to our hospital and community health sites

Parking and public transport

Parking

Parking is available free of charge in nominated car parks for all patients, visitors and staff across all our sites at:

  • Rockingham General Hospital
  • Murray District Hospital
  • Mandurah Community Health Centre
  • Community Mental Health.

Please note time limits do apply within some car parking areas.

ACROD parking

Free parking for ACROD permit holders is available in visitor car parks at Rockingham General and Murray District hospitals.

ACROD permits must be displayed at all times.

Parking infringements

Visitors and patients are encouraged to observe the various parking signs on site.

From 1 July 2015, parking contrary to signs may result in an infringement notice being issued.

Speed limits

For the safety of staff, patients and visitors, please observe the 8 km speed limit while travelling on our health service sites.

Public transport

There are a number of transport options to help you get to sites within the Rockingham Peel Group, including convenient public transport.

Visit Transperth (external site) or call 13 62 13 for information on public transport options.

Patient drop off and pick up at Rockingham General Hospital

There are a number of short term patient set down areas throughout the hospital – find these on the hospital map (PDF 618KB).

Transport for eligible DVA patients

Some veteran patients may be eligible to have transport arranged for them through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) (external site). For further information, phone the DVA on 1800 550 455.
